Vision - Mission - Goals

#SheTransformsIT is an alliance made up of actors from politics, business, science, and civil society, with the goal of attracting more women to tech and IT. Since it’s founding in 2020, #SheTransformsIT has been committed to strengthening the role of girls and women in the digital transformation as an interdisciplinary initiative. The initiative works across sectors on solutions and best practices to promote a sustainable shift towards more women in digitalization across education, science, business, and society.

Transformation

We don't just talk, we ACT. To this end, we drive change in the following key areas: education, pivotal career change, digital workplace and corporate culture, as well as role models in society. We engage with relevant decision-makers who can bring about sustainable changes in the field of women in digitalization and break down structural barriers.

Networking

#SheTransformsIT is the network of networks. We see ourselves as a platform that ensures those actively supporting women in digitalization—both individuals and initiatives—can collaborate as effectively as possible. We strengthen the network by bringing together existing initiatives to create synergies. Our strength lies in connecting individual actors, while our cooperation partners bring the expertise for their respective topics and fields.

Awareness & Visibility

We make women in digitalization visible. By showcasing role models in digitalization, we inspire women to engage with technology and encourage them to (re)enter the digital workforce. We also increase the visibility of networks that promote women in digitalization, highlighting the diversity of existing initiatives. At the same time, through communication campaigns and events, we create awareness and raise sensitivity to the topic of "women in digitalization."
